C.B. West Band Program Holds Their Annual Christmas Tree Sale

Happy Holidays from the C.B. West Band!

C.B. West Band Holds Their Annual Christmas Tree Sale

Allyson Kling

This December, C.B. West Band students sold Christmas trees, pine roping, wreaths, Hanukkah candles, and Stand Strait stands to benefit their program. This sale was held at War Memorial field on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the month.

Throughout the sale, while benefitting the band, students were able to have a fun experience working with their friends. The cheerful atmosphere, complete with holiday music and happy customers made for an extremely positive experience for the workers and consumers alike. During their shifts, band members and parent volunteers helped customers transport, cut, and tie down their new Christmas trees.

Student notes:

“I loved working at the tree sale, it was really fun to hang out with your friends and get in the holiday spirit.”

“I really value the experience I had at the tree sale. It was so much fun to help out the band with my friends.”

“I had a blast at the tree sale! It was so fun watching and helping families get their tree!”
