The movie, starring Ben Wang, follows a future America where there is an annual contest for the winner to get whatever they want for the rest of their life. It’s a sci-fi/horror movie that already has 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

This Hamilton documentary highlights the journey of Renée Elise Goldsberry and her role in the hit musical. It also highlights her role as a mother, which she became during the musical. This documentary is a must-see for all musical theatre or Hamilton fans! Even if you don’t like musicals, this documentary is a good watch for people who love learning about others!

Famous movie Black Phone is getting its sequel on October 17th, 2025. The movie, starring Ethan Hawke and Mason Thames, is about the return of Thames’ character, Finn, as he journeys through the aftermath of being kidnapped in Black Phone 1. This movie is for all horror fans- just make sure to watch the first one as well!
Regretting You
Another movie starring Mason Thames, this one is based off the hit book Regretting You by Colleen Hoover. The movie follows a strained relationship between mother and daughter, and the trials of dealing with grief when the mom loses her husband. This movie also stars McKenna Grace!

Wicked: For Good
I know it might seem far away, but the second part of Wicked is coming to theatres November 21st, 2025. For those who haven’t seen the first part, I’d recommend watching that before watching the second part. Wicked: For Good is the conclusion of the movie version of the hit musical Wicked. The musical is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, focusing on the relationship between Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (The Witch of the North). This is a must see for all musical theatre fans!
