High School Student Art Gallery
As an artist myself, quarantine has allowed me to dedicate more time towards my hobby. Curious about what other artists during this time have done, I asked if anyone had artwork to share and was in awe with all the replies!

Brooke F.- “Frank Zappa has always been a huge inspiration of mine both musically and creatively so one day, I was listening to Apostrophe, the album, and kept looking at it and wondering, ‘If only he was smiling a bit…’. So, I tried my best using color pencil, acrylic, ink pens, and all the jazz. He’s the one musician I draw the most, so I wanted to make one that counted!”

Patrick C.- “This piece of art was something I was inspired to make because of my love for Christ and how the arts can represent goodness.”

Charlie C. and Seba C. – “We just had spray paint and wood to use it on. I also found that I can kinda make a decent palm tree.”
-
Ella B.- “I really like drawing realistic sketches of people and animals because it’s fun to get the anatomy just right. I like to fill a page of the same subject matter and get all different angles.”

Ariana O.- “A lighting study from a scene in Sight and Sound Theater’s production of Esther, where she stands on a balcony and sings a song about being still and knowing God is in control. (It’s one of my favorite plays they’ve done!).

Ingrid W.- “I was just exploring facial anatomy of people and thought Beyoncé’s was interesting, so I wanted to paint her. I also wanted to use the grey scale as the color scheme, so I combined them.”
